Day :1 Srinagar -Gulmarg
On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative and drive down to Gulmarg,Rest of the afternoon at Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) (at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg .Overnight at hotel.
Day :2 Gulmarg -Pahalgam
In the morning leave for Pahalgam, Full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way .Enjoy the crystal clear waters of the river lidder meandering through the forest floor. One can take a pony ride through the forests of Pahalgam arriving at Baisaran-A meadow surrounded by mountain peaks or take a sumo jeep ride to Aru, chandanwari ,betab valley(Please ask for a quote) Spend Night at the hotel in Pahalgam
Day :3 Pahalgam - Srinagar
In the morning drive down to Srinagar going via Martand Sun Temple, and the holy shrine of sufi saint at Ash muqam .Later transfer to Hotel or Houseboat. In the evening enjoy Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Overnight at Houseboat/Hotel in Srinagar
Day :4 Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Overnight at Houseboat/Hotel.
Day 4: Srinagar- Manasbal Lake/ Wular Lake- Srinagar.
Start with Early breakfast; Take a full day tour of Manasbal Lake and Wular Lake. Manasbal Lake is located about 30 km north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir State. It has predominantly rural surroundings with three villages, Kondabal, Jarokbal and Gratbal overlooking the lake. Manasbal is considered as the 'supreme gem of all Kashmir lakes' with lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) nowhere more abundant or beautiful than on the margins of this lake during July and August. It is the deepest lake of Kashmir valley and perhaps the only one that develops stable summer stratification. Manasbal is classified as warm monomictic lake and circulates once in a year for a short time. Wullar Lake is approximately 60 km from the city of Srinagar, between the towns of Bandipore and Sopore. Spreading over an area of 125 km, Wular Lake is said to be one of the largest fresh water lakes in Asia. The Wular Lake of Kashmir changes character after every few miles of its course. The lake serves as a natural flood reservoir for Jhelum River, draining off the excess water. The beauty of Wullar Lake is beyond description of words. Devoid of any artificial feature, the Wullar Lake in Kashmir reflects the beauty of nature at its best. Set amongst scenic locales, the Wular Lake is also home to an exotic and wide variety of avian life. Return back in the evening to the Hotel /Houseboat.
Day :6 Srinagar Heritage Tour
After breakfast you can visit the world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) & Shankaracharya Temple which commands one of the magnificent view of the Srinagar City and the lakes. .In the afternoon take a tour of the local city going via the Jama Masjid ,the pathar masjid ,Khanka Moula and Roz bal Shrine(One can see the feet imprints of the saint of this shrine with marks of crucifixions which as per some western historians is Jesus ). Spend evening at Chasma Shahi and Parimahal gardens on the Zabaran hills.Overnight at Houseboat/Hotel.
Day :7 Srinagar
Morning free for personal activities. Afternoon transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight or leave early for Final Destination Jammu or Leh.
