Day 1: Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar airport meet our representative who will drive you down to the Hotel/Houseboat on the DalLake.Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Take a Shikara ride on the DalLake and visit Parimahal in the evening.
Day 2 : Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar
After breakfast drive down to Gulmarg via Drang which is a new picnic spot enroute to Gulmarg,spend rest of the afternoon at Gulmarg.One can take Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg.Return back in the evening to the Hotel on Dal Lake.Overnight at hotel/houseboat.
Day 3: Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar
In the morning leave for Pahalgam, Full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way .Enjoy the crystal clear waters of the river lidder meandering through the forest floor. One can take a pony ride through the forests of Pahalgam arriving at Baisaran-A meadow surrounded by mountain peaks or take a sumo jeep ride to Aru, chandanwari ,betab valley(Please ask for a quote) .Return to Hotel on the Dal Lake.
Day 4: Srinagar- Manasbal Lake/ Wular Lake- Srinagar.
Start with Early breakfast; Take a full day tour of Manasbal Lake and Wular Lake. Manasbal Lake is located about 30 km north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir State. It has predominantly rural surroundings with three villages, Kondabal, Jarokbal and Gratbal overlooking the lake. Manasbal is considered as the 'supreme gem of all Kashmir lakes' with lotus nowhere more abundant or beautiful than on the margins of this lake during July and August. It is the deepest lake of Kashmir valley and perhaps the only one that develops stable summer stratification. Manasbal is classified as warm monomictic lake and circulates once in a year for a short time. Wullar Lake is approximately 60 km from the city of Srinagar, between the towns of Bandipore and Sopore. Spreading over an area of 125 km, Wular Lake is said to be one of the largest fresh water lakes in Asia. The Wular Lake of Kashmir changes character after every few miles of its course. The lake serves as a natural flood reservoir for Jhelum River, draining off the excess water. The beauty of Wullar Lake is beyond description of words. Devoid of any artificial feature, the Wullar Lake in Kashmir reflects the beauty of nature at its best. Set amongst scenic locales, the Wular Lake is also home to an exotic and wide variety of avian life. Return back in the evening to the Hotel /Houseboat.
Day: 5 Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar
The drive to Sonamarg is through the Sindh Valley which presents yet another spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg ('The meadow of gold') has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with Trout and Mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months..One can ride on horse(at your own cost) to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Overnight at Houseboat/Hotel.
Day 6: Srinagar.
Morning free for personal activities. Transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.
